Jiffy Lube was founded in 1979 when it introduced the first drive-through service bay, making it easier for customers to get their oil changed quickly. The only thing I can do is have another oil change to get rid of the mix of old and new oil so I can maintain the engine warranty. I was told “Well sometimes that happens” and he went back to work. I spoke to the person that did the service, mentioning that I only got a half an oil change as the engine was not fully drained. I complained that the only way this could have happened was that the engine was not fully drained to start with. I returned and the staff pulled over a gallon of oil out of my engine. I also had the computer check for the engine oil capacity and it registered over full. Later that day I checked the oil and found it was way over full. The job was finished and off I went a happy customer. When the oil was changed, they checked with the dipstick and determined that it was overfilled and sucked out about a quart or so I was told. After the oil change, I still had one of the containers with about 2 1/2 to 3 quarts in it. I asked that they not over-fill the unit. I explained that the engine would not take all but 1.8 of the quarts. My engine take 13.2 quarts and I brought in 15 quarts. There is a quest in the early game that requires ink and paper and it's more simple to complete it by just buying it from an NPC, but it is still extremely useful later in the game to craft pretty much anything at the church desk. Next up is black paint, which is required to make ink and paper. Next, you'll combine the zombie juice with 10 faith and a corpse at the resurrection table to raise a new zombie. 1 Health powder (get rid of your crop waste at the Alchemy mill).By the end of the game, you'll have so much faith you won't know what to do with it! Don't stress it and get more zombies over time, slowly but surely. The bottleneck here is faith, which you won't have a lot of at the beginning of the game. And I also like to have a few more zombies available that I can move around for workstations, crates or farming. I like to always have several zombies at work gathering resources: wood, stone, iron and marble, each with a few hauling zombies that go back and forth bringing the resources back to your base. You will get 3 zombie juices (and a free zombie) by doing the quest with Gunter, but if you're motivated, I'd say you should aim for around 10 zombies in total. This should be your first goal regarding alchemy. With zombies, you can automate a good part of the resources gathering grind and a small part of the production. I chose to talk about this one first as raising zombies will have a major impact on your quality of life as a player. I will give a few tips regarding alchemy and share which are the recipes I believe you should actually be using and why. I won't be giving a complete list of alchemy recipes in this guide (the wiki is great for that). It's a bit complicated, but learning some alchemy makes the rest of the game way easier. Hey guys! Today, we're going to have a look at the alchemy system of Graveyard Keeper. ![]()
![]() ![]() If I find a recent study that is closely related to my research topic, I pay particular attention not only to the results of the study but to literature review as well: the authors have already done great research on selecting the most relevant previous sources, and I can incorporate the studies that they refer to in my paper too. I look through the study and take notes in a very similar way as I do when reading textbooks and books. In this way, I open preferentially these pages as I am interested in being able to access the entire study. It’s very convenient that Google Scholar shows the sources that are available in full text. If my assignment includes coming up with a topic for the research (like in thesis assignments), studying these research papers helps me to identify gaps in the current research that can become my topic.įor assignments that include coming up with research topics, like thesis proposal, studying the latest research reports on Google Scholar helps me identify gaps in current research in my field. When I mention the latest studies in the paper, the teacher will appreciate the depth of the research that went into the work. Find research studies pertaining to your topic on Google ScholarĪfter the books, I proceed to Google Scholar and look for relevant research articles that relate to my topic. Just like with the textbook, I note down everything interesting in my Notes file: I write down the author or authors, the title and publication year (it’s convenient for making correct in-text citations while writing the final paper), and after each pasted or noted paragraph, I write down the page number. I can get the ideas of the relevant books from the class textbook or from a simple google search. The next step is to read some other books pertaining to the topic of the assignment. Read other books and articles relevant to your topicĪfter reading the textbook I have a general idea of what I am dealing with. Some of these sources could be found online and investigated in more detail. For example, it discusses the authors of some theories, the research studies on some subjects, etc. The textbook can point to the sources of quality information that can be investigated further. While I am working with the textbook, I also notice the references to particular studies or other books that are applicable to my assignment. I highlight the name of the source in pink, the important points from the source in yellow, and my thoughts in blue This is how my typical page of the Notes file looks. I often use highlights to visually mark the most interesting parts of the text. If the textbook cannot be copied, I just briefly write the main idea of the passage and note down the page in the textbook to get back to later if this information will be needed for my final paper. I also note down why the paragraph in question is relevant for my paper. I do not worry about copyright because this is my private document and I am using it only to gather the most relevant information in one place. I also write down the resource and page number of each passage for easier referencing later. Sometimes I copy the entire paragraphs that are relevant to my assignment and paste it into my notes. Then we learned that the company's new premium product would be meat created using "donations" from children. "You know there's something wrong when you've got to jump on a bus and go and have some flesh scooped out of your arm for money," she said. Wallace interviewed a 67-year-old woman driven by the cost of living crisis to, reluctantly, donate. The pair discussed the terroir aspect of the meat – does the stuff grown from donors in the North East of England taste different to that from donors in the South East?Īt this point, viewers were taking to social media to express their disgust but there was much worse to come. The enthusiastic Wallace enlisted chef Michel Roux Jr to sample some steaks with him. Lead Stories searched for a company named Good Harvest that produced human steaks but could not find any evidence that any such company existed or currently exists. " While it was a complete fantasy, we wanted to raise important questions about the nation's relationship with food and what those struggling with the cost of living are being asked to do in order to stay afloat," Wallace wrote. "T he whole thing was made up," Wallace wrote. Outside of the mockumentary, Wallace confirmed in a commentary he wrote in The Sun that that Good Harvest and its "human steaks" are not real. In the mockumentary, Wallace references a 1729 essay by Jonathan Swift, " A Modest Proposal," in which Swift satirically proposes that poor Irish parents sell their children to rich people, who would then eat the children, thereby reducing the number of beggars on London's streets. In reality, however, "Gregg Wallace: The British Miracle Meat" is a satirical short film that was created to present a bleak reality of the cost of living for British citizens. The mock company also said that the steaks were created for human consumption and that they would be sold for a much lower cost than animal meat products, which would supposedly help relieve the food crisis. The company purportedly received human cell material from everyday people, who were compensated for their bodily contribution children could even be donors.
